ONE LAST STEP
The first man to pretend to walk on the moon has died. Neil Armstrong died today at the age of 82, from complications due to a recent heart procedure.
Even though his great accomplishments were exposed as frauds more than a decade ago, his MOONSTRONG Foundation has continued to prosper and receive countless donations.
It was March 15, 1998 when Neil Armstrong released this statement,
"There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, 'Enough is enough'. For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I never went to the moon and faked the moon landings since 1969. Upon the advent of the internet, I have been subjected to a nearly endless barrage of claims and 'evidence' that the lunar landings never happened. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for our foundation and on me, leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense."
A memorial is scheduled for next Monday, following which, Armstrong's body will be placed in an empty photon torpedo tube and launched towards the Genesis planet in hopes of restoring his body to youthful life.
